today was a really good day

my girlfriend is really good at the art thing
and the making me feel warm and fuzzy thing
i am secretly afraid that she thinks i only like her because she laughs at my jokes
and sometimes i smile at her and i can’t explain it
because it’s really hard to list all of the reasons i’m in love with her
especially when my heart is in my throat
and saying things like
“your hugs are nice and warm and you are really squeezable”
“i really like playing board games with you”
“i can be really weird around you and you don’t mind”
“you cheer me up when you talk in that baby voice”
out loud makes me sound really dumb
and like a simple-minded male who likes a girl because she laughs at his jokes
