i really wish you would just tell me if i’m ever going to be good at this, if i’m even supposed to be good at this. (do you want me to be good at this? don’t you want me to be good at this?)

i don’t care about knowing the when; i’ll gladly work hard for twenty more years if i know that this is what you want me to do.

i just want to know if i’m wasting my time by taking this so seriously.
